air bag light on!
lol, same thing happened in my 12v... in the owners manual it just said that "this means the air bag system isnt working properly" so im guessing if you got in an accident the air bags could quite possibly not go off.. my guess??
try clearing the code if it comes back within a couple days go to the dealer and have it serviced.. it will cost you a nickle or 2 but then ask your self how important is your life... My friend had the same problem he cleared the code and it came back a week later... so he went to the dealer they charged him 700 to fix... to my knowlage, you have to go to the dealer to fix this problem...plz correct me if im wrong...
Find out what the code is on for. If its side airbags theres a tech bullitin to remove the connectors under the seat and hardwire the wires. Chaffed wires under the seat or on the side of the seat are also a common problem.
yea wtf is the problem with the airbags though bc i currently have mine on and my friends have a jetta and a GTI with a airbaglight on. everything is built with quality on these cars except the air bag wtf is it made to be serviced every year or sumthin/
