Air Bag Light/ Grill Painted/ Oil Change
ok heres the deal. Last night i changed the oil in my car used mobil 1 0w40 full synthetic. Everything went smooth, painted my stock grill the outer trim is silver colormatched to the car which is silver. I painted the black grill black because it needed a fresh look and The chrome rings of the audi symbol are now black. Threw it back on the car and it came out really good. I will have some pics up soon. But my main concern is my air bag light came on. I did a search and found that it could be the wires underneath the passenger seat have loose connections and that this is a fairly common problem. so moral to the story oil change and grill good, air bag light bad. Now people say that the air bags will not function with the light on but I really dont want to beleive that. I go to school for automotive technology so I will scan it asap but since I am impatient I was wondering what your input would be on the cause of this problem.
no I didn't yet but I wanted to scan it before hand. Also I dont know if it would be an obvious loose connection I dont want to tinker with it until I know the problem.
