Default Air Box Mod and Forge 007!!! YEAH!!!

Ok, so last night I did the air box mod and about 2 days ago installed my Forge 007 DV! LET me tell you it sounds SO much cooler now!!! A nice deep roar when I stomp on the gas and then pshh noise when I let off. It's awesome!!! Now I just need a chip or K04 or something! LOL

A little extra noise is OK if thats what you like, but I think you'll find an extra 40hp from chipping the car "extra awesome".
So, where's the sound clip??? Any pics of the install?

I was never comfortable with the airbox mod when i had it. Everytime it rained, I felt uneasy. I know lots of people have no issues with ingesting water, but its just something I, and others, didnt feel comfortable with.

I agree. Cutting holes in the well just so the box get's a little more air and sounds "cooler"?.... To me it's not worth the long term damage to the engine as a result of excessive moisture.

long term effects from excessive moisture ?
people spray all kinds of water based junk into their engines

i have it done to mine.. and i am concisius of possible damage while im driving in the rain, but it dosent erk me to the point where i refuse to drive in the rain

it was even fine in the snow.
