Air Flow Flap

Air Flow Flap
Hey Folks. 1998 A4 2.8L V6 has been running rough off/on for a little while. Codes always came up as "0" (normal funtion). Tonight the car really started running rough. New code popped up "15.7" which according to my chart means "Air Flow Flap, sporadic block".
Anyone know:
1) Where it's located?
2) How hard to change?
3) How much it costs?
Thanks for the help.

oh i c... Sounds like the flap inside the airbox. Take it appart and check it unless someone else has a better idea?
Acutally... Id take it in for an ecu scan. Autozone will do it for free normaly.

RE: Air Flow Flap
hmmm so its the blender flap in the aircon your talking about since your quoting A/C codes and your using the A/C to read the codes?? if so you need to use a proper diagnostic tool in the DLC to get engine codes
