So my car threw some codes... took it in to cedarbrae VW here in ontario... and they tell me, my car needs an air pump, and a combinatin valve. Sweet! 875 plus taxes. Beautiful. hehe, my car is 2 months, and 3K out of warranty... so I phone audi, and beg and beg, and they tell me I have to take it to an Audi dealer... (cedarbrae is VW dealer) so yeah... Crazyness! Hopefully I didnt waste my 90 bucks at cedarbrae, only to have to pay another 90 to do another diagnosis at an audi dealership! But audi says, that if I take it to an audi dealership, they MIGHT (she gave me a 40/60 split for my odds) do it under warranty. So... spend another 90 at audi, then possibly get told to fix it anyways? Stupid air pump... stupid emissions!

Well Chris here is a idea for you mind you I just work in part but I will see if I can work some magic bring by the invoice where they diagnosed the problem at Cederbrae It should have codes on it and I'll talk to the guys here and see if we can get away without diagnosing it again

 

Good lord that would be amazing. I am so hurting for cash these days. Thinking I should have waited a few years before buying an Audi! haha The dude at cedarbrae has been great, he's going to phone agincourt, and see if they can fudge something... if that doesnt pan out, then should I call you? I do not want to spend another 90, when it might be pointless... if Audi shuts me down.

Awesome. The guy at Cedarbrae has arranged for me to go to Agincourt, pay like half an hour's labor (though I hate to have to pay that, since it's something i've already paid 90 for!)... and they'll re-do the 90 dollar thing I already did. He figures I have a good shot at 50/50 coverage. Problem is, I have to leave the car at Agincourt all day, and I'm in bowmanville. Argh. If the same thing can be set up at owasco, I'd go there. Muuuuch easier to leave it in Oshawa, obviously.

just one more thing are you daeling with audi dirrect yourself if you come here and we do the work u pay the full price here and get Audi to reemburse you or whats going on there ?
