whats up guys. i am looking to buy an alarm system for my car. i want one thatyou must press the button on the remote before unlocking your car. someone has 1 of my keys and i dont know who has it. so, i need one that u need the remote to disarm the alarm before unlocking the door. i use a key to unlock my doors i dont have a automatic unlock button. so, if this person unlocks my car i want an alarm to go off. does anyone have any ideas on which one is good or not? thanks

 

Almost any aftermarket alarm will do the trick. I am in favour of the new FM pager type alarms. I would fork out more for a GPS notification one, but I simply do not have the money for such eccentric tastes.

You can easily get a Viper system installed for $500 ...... or buy an alarm and do it yourself for free labour! I've done about 6 of them myself for all my cars and various friends/relatives. First try was 8 hrs.. now I can do it in 3-4.

 

Do not do the car on ur own, Audis are not like honda and toyota's some shops like best buy will not even install alarms in audi's 01 and up so get it professionaly installed

 

or if they will install it at all that want big bucks to put it in i did mine myself and yes it is definally not as easy as a honda or a toyota i have done 100+ plus alarms on different cars and the ones that kick my butt are german vechiles
