Does anybody know off hand if New York state allows the european style plates in the front as opposed to regular NY plates. My RS4 bumper is screaming to be replaced with something with a little more class besides the haggard *** NY plate.

 

if they give u 2 plates. u use 2 plates.. i had my euro plate in the front and wsan't boothered by any cop but its better to be safe then sorry so i put my NY plate back on.

 

I got pulled for having a Union jack on the front, instead of a plate. i think if you have anything other than the regular plate, the coppers will get out their sticks and give you a good dose of truncheon rash!

 

yea from what i've heard n seen. if u have 2 plates from the DMV then u must use them.. not by putting them in the window either. it has to be mounted on the front

 

I know people here in NY who have euro plates UNDER their NY plates...no problem as far as i know

well i cant really beat that one, but i did see a scion xb (i think thats the one, you know the ugly boxy one) in like diaherria brown, racing decals (you know like "blah blah blah racing / tuning / etc" with german euro plates on it. i was at a red light and couldnt stop staring at this guy, i felt embarassed for him
