Default Alloy and tyre package

Hello all,
I have an A4 2.8 Q with 225 x 55 x 16 on it at present,I have just bought from a
new RS4 a set of 5 spoke Avus 18"s.What size of tyres would be best without any adjustment needed and optimum ride/comfort.

235/40/18 would be the best fit for your car BTW with the 225/55/16 on there right now your speedo will be out it sould be a 205/55/16 from the factory for the 16 " wheel
