yep aeb def has forged pistons and I'm almost positive the other motors have forged pistons as well (all made by Mahle) but the newer ones only have 19mm wrist pins.

The trouble with the intake is that there is only about 4->5 inches or so b/w the turbo and headlight, I'm going down to the shop to attack again, I'll post pics later tongiht

 

Sweet cant wait to see the pix, i think if you got the elbow from the 04.5-05 cummins it might work, the bend is really tight

Made some more progess...built a flange and finished the downpipe, redid the oil lines, welded the wastegate shut, and cut off the arm, and a couple other things. Looks like i will probably start it tomorrow

lol yea not much room for anything filterwise, looks like you need some screendoor screen

 

and how are you gunna make sure you done blow it with out a good tune to get it to the tuner, lol thats gotta be some mad changes to the fule program to make that big of a turbo set up work.... and whats with that lip thing on the flange is that to direct the flow back instead of going over by the wastegate??

don't think there would be enough room under the hood for 2 of these puppies :P

 

What are you running there for ignition instead of the OE coil packs. I have seen a lot of your engine pics and have just never asked what your runnin.
