Hi there, I have a 2002 1.8T sedan, I have the aluminium trim around the exteria of the windows. I have had the car since new and have only washed it in automated brushless car washes. I noticed some time ago that the trim has run marked type stains in it, and they are also a very dull colour. I thought all I would have to do is polish them with Autosol and the problem would be fixed, I have since tried but to no effect, Is there anybody out there who has encountered this problem before. any advise at all would be greatly apreciated. yeah samething with mine, i still trying to figure that one out too. Someone must know of the secret recipe.

 

First tip, don't just run it through automated wash's. It is imporant to take the time and effort to clean your car instead of just rinsing it off. Try really cleaning it and put a little arm into it and see what happens.
