Just installed amp and new speakers, getting some noise. I suspect its a bad ground. Just wondering what everyone else used as a ground. I drilled a hole in the trunk floor metal and used that. Any ideas for a better location in the trunk area?

 

trunk floor should be ok but the chassis is better

 

Which speakers did you replace?

 

A lot of people use the bolt under the carpet in the trunk for the tie down/net. Just make sure you chip away at the paint surrounding the bolt for good contact.
