i was looking on achtuning and i saw they had an ams chip. never heard the brand. price is $600, how would this compare to giac or apr? any1 have or have used it? just curious cuz ive never really seen any others chips besides apr, giac, or neupseed.

 

Never heard of it. APR and GIAC are both around $500.

ams is like upsolute and unitronic.... Go with GIAC.

 

AMS is more like Dahlback and MTM and if I'm not mistaken ABT owns it.

Is the MTM chip good? Does anyone have it? I saw http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/a4stage2_1.htm has a chip/MTM or chip/Milltek exhaust package. Anyone know anything about it?

 

All the chips that I mentioned before are considered high end chips and they were not very popular because they were expensive. Now dahlback has a sale and I think is $499 at KMD Tuning. I had dahlback and it definitely was much nicer than my GIAC. I would recomend it. MTM and AMS I never tried them but they are still considered good.
