if im just lookin for a better sound, is there any problem with just havin a new mufflerput on rather than having a whole custom exhaust put on? or is it really worthit to put onnew pipes.i am driving a 2.8 so im notexactly concerned with a performance boost. thanks

 

Go with a magnaflow exhaust. No need to go cat-back.

thanks for the tip. i was set on a magnaflow but then saw this flowmaster; yeah i'll still have my mid but i still think it'll sound nice:

and yeah, i was pretty sure it had been discussed but after a quick search didnt find much; i expected the flame.

i have been asking around alot about my exhaust being too loud. i had atp 3inch testpipe, 2.5 downpipe and 2.5' piping all the way w/o a resonator with magnaflow exhaust. It was wayyyyyyy too loud for me and little ricey. so about few weeks ago i ordered a magnaflow midmuffler/resonator which now i currently have on sounds sooo sweet not quite not loud perfect sound.

 

heh, thats +3 for magnaflow, i think im gonna give magnaflow another look/listen.
