Any B6'ers have any tips for this damn CC Mod?

Default Any B6'ers have any tips for this damn CC Mod?

Alright so im trying to do the clear corner mod, but i cant get this damn clip underneath the lens housing off... its impossibe...

the diy on audiworld has like no hoelp on this part, it says to push and then pull at the same time (physically impossible?) http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext.html

any help from anyone who has done this before would be amazing

You have to really make sure those tabs are drilled out, you may think you have, but if isn't moving it isn't. I had some problems on the first one I did, i thought it was drilled all the way out and kept fighting with the thing, only to realize there was still a little piece holding it. When drilling it out watch the drill bit through the lens and you can see how close you are to the front so you have an idea. Once you get fairly close on both tabs then try. It should come out pretty easy if they are completely drilled out.,
