RE: Any other thoughts on radio codes
ok your gonna have to go to the dealer....
i called approx 10 dealers before i got one that would give me the code# over the phone. they charged me $16 for it... which is better than the $40 all the other dealers wanted, and the ones that wanted $40 wanted me to bring the car in... the closest dealer to me is hour and a half away.
so the dealer that i finally got to get the code for me over the phone was Kinney motors in rutland vermont, i think the guy i talked to was mike, he was realyl helpful, and looked up to see if there was any recals on my car too.
you'll need your vin #, the serial # off the side or top of the radio, ya you gotta pull it out... any sound shop shuold do this for free, and for some reason he also wanted to know the mileage on my car..
and when it old him 190,000, he goes oh just getting broken in, said that in an excited tone
