Im looking at the Borla exhaust for my 2002 a4, i want to know how it sounds, i dont want it to be too deep or loud..

 

This weekend i installed my new techtonics exhaust system on my 01. It is not annoying or loud but man does it put the power down. I suggest borla (techtonics uses borla mufflers) very good system, sounds great 15-18 hp gain if your car is a 1.8t i would also suggest making sure you get the downpipe from the cat as well. good luck

Well sort of, but I'm not sure how the sound through 4 dollar computer speakers reflects the real exhaust sound.

 

that is so true i have a laptop and when i play it through them they sound ok but then whne i plug in my good computer speakers they sound amazing.

when they say tiptronic quattro does that mean quattro only and not the fwd version?? it seems that most places who make aftermarket zorsts for the a4 dont make them to suit fwd tip variants???????

 

Yes quattro only. IIRC FronTrak has to reroute things differently because the gas tank is not the same.
