Anybody know if this is Bad???

Default Anybody know if this is Bad???

Inoticed that this green wire is broken and im not sure if it is that bad because the car seems fine.

the wire is one of the 4 that attach to the Air filter sensor

any help is really appreciated

ya, id be surprised if you didnt have running issues because of that. Its your maf wiring. Im surprised you dont have a CEL or fault code.

Hmmm...

and if i try to get it fixed ill probably have to rewire a lot and i just dont have any time or $$. So.....

I would just find a used connector/harness and cut it off a few inches before the wires go into the plastic connector and splice it in. Those MAF connectors get very brittle over time with all the heat and would probably shatter in your hands if you tried to re pin the wire somehow. For now, i would just shove that wire back in the hole and hope its a temporary fix.. But if you arent having any noticeable running issues, then idk.. Im really wanting to know exactly what that wire is responsible for now though.

ya. same here. i really want to know what that wire does.

but thanks for that little tip. ill see if its really that bad if/when i go to the dealership or a local shop and if it is ill try to find a used harness.

It is part of the wiring harness to the MAF. You need to have it spliced back.

just splice it back like david said, you can do that in like 2 seconds.
better then buying a new haness!
cant believe a check engina light aint on
and it runs still? lol thats cool
