...I can get a good price on APR ECU upgrade (Stage I)for my 03 1.8T. I called few places and for the most part I've been gettin quotes of $625. That seems a little high to me for but then again I'm not really in the know when it comes to this kinda stuff. Any info on prices you guys paid would also be appreciated.

 

go on audizine classifieds and buy one there. you'll get it a lot cheaper. do you have your heart set on APR or would you consider another program? diode?

The price will be the same wherever you go unless you can find a used chipped ecu in the classifieds like smokeU said. If you send APR your ecu it only costs $500. If you take your car to a shop, they will charge extra labor, maybe $50 extra. So the most you should pay is about $550 new. Used chipped ecu's can be had for about $350-$400.

 

Waterfest is this weekend and APR will be there doing installs.

damn, if i didn't just spend 700 miles driving to NY and back for work last week i would totally be down, but another 1000 this week just doesn't sound that appealing........... oh Waterfest looks like soooo much fun though, i hope you all have a blast!!!!
