I agree with you totally!! are you kidding me 425 to weld in a new flex joint!! That is outrageous!!! Its a common thing I guess... It happened to me and costed me a 100 bucks with a brand new flex welded in... That was before I knew the hook up at the muffler place.. 425??? I would have went from cat back with 2.25 piping with a borla muffler... Just to be clear I think beermod is talking about from the cat and back with new exhaust.. Full exhaust is like headers ect....

 

Well, got my baby back..it was 438 all together. They replaced the downtube flex and all the gaskets bolts and clamps. It was a bit expensive but not as rediculous as I expected considering some of the feedback. They charged me 236 for the pipe that goes for 155 on ECS..everything else was pretty standard.

dude for the same price(maybe alittle more like 300-350 on an audi) the local muffler shop in my town will create and put in a full custom exhaust for me. i feel bad for you
