Default Anyone have THESE???

http://www.lltek.com/A4_B5_light_centr.htm <----- Info can be found here...

These are pretty clean, I think... And IMHO, its a good alternative to cutting away at your fenders for the 1 piece units, and HOPING they turn out okay...[&:]

Does anyone have these, or have some pics of them installed, preferibly on silver?

Thanks!!!

Nate

1 piece are the best, but those are lltek so they'll be of good quality...If you really don't want to get a 1 piece, those would be a lot better than the stock 2 piece lights

I had them on my 98 and liked them a lot, but my 01 has 1 piece and those are a lot better...

lltek doesn't necessarily mean good quality. you're much better off going with 1-piece...the fender trimming isn't hard at all

Got pix???

I'm not opposed to a 1 piece conversion... I'm just gun-shy about taking the knife to my brand new baby girl...[&:] I do have access to a complete metal shop, and a knowlegable worker (my Mom, of all people LOL!!!) and I know that she'd do the cutting for me...

BUT, how is the wiring? Is it a P.I.T.A to hook up? I had Civic Type R headlights on my Si, and I made a custom wiring harness to include sidemarkers (USDM Civics have no sidemarkers on the stock fenders) and an auxillary running light enclosed within the headlight housing (called a "city light" in JDM-speak), and also re-wired the fog light harness so they could be turned on with parking lights and high beams...

SO a little cutting and splicing is not a huge problem... As long as I can get some diagrams/write ups/etc... to help me in the right direction...

OVERALL, on a 1-10 scale, how hard is the conversion for a mechanically apt person, with legit metal working facilities???

As previously stated the one piece is def the way to go. also alot of people complain about the quality of the 2 piece kits on the market today. Heres a link on what it actualy takes to do the conversion. Its not to difficult. 1 piece conversion.

Thanks!!! That helps a bunch...

How is the factory wiring for an HID upgrade? I know stock wires can often times blow out under the heavier loads of an aftermarket HID install, anyone had problems like this with factory upgrades???
