Ok, after tracing the tubing from my boost gauge (which never shows vacuum) this is where it ends up. can anyone tell me if this port is supposed to be here or if this was put in just for the boost gauge. And if I should take it out and plug it up and move the boost gauge tube to the intake hosing?

I know the pics are horrible, my bro has my camera, so I had to use this one...

 

Pretty sure it is an o2 sensor.

That is the tubing that goes to the boost gauge.....I didn't realize there was an O2 sensor there???

 

Oh, then I am not sure. Did you install the boost gauge? And is there any other hoses that go to the boost gauge off of your vacuum lines? If not they might have hooked it up that way. No idea though.

No, I didn't install the boost gauge. That is the only tube that goes into the gauge. that pics (sorry for not saying before) is below the passenger side headlight. It looks to me like it is in the factory intercooler (unless that isn't what that is).

so you're saying they took out a map sensor and replaced it with the boos gauge?

 

that looks like an intercooler to me too, but did audi move it to the passenger side on B6's?[&:]

 

I was wondering the same thing. On my B5 it's on the drivers side.

Can you get more pictures of it??? And of whats around it???
