how do they compared to achipped a4?

 

I absolutely blew the doors off one on the freeway on my way back from big bear last year

 

the type s are quick, they move a bit I dont remember if i was chipped at that time or not, i think i just had my ko4 stock program cat back downpipe and test pipe at that point dont remember but i do remember beating him but not by that much

 

they will kill a chipped a4. I raced a stock tl-s and I barely beat him. I was making 240whp at the time too. I dont think that the chipped a4 makes quite that much....

 

u will get beat the old Cl type S makes 260hp and they are lgihter and FWD so u will lose

 

i actually totaled my audi and now own an 01 cl-s and i just wanted to make sure i would poop on most of your audi's.. ( ha ha just kidding i miss my a4 but the acura was too good a deal to pass on

 

My friend has a 01 cl-s and i got owned altho im not chipped(99.5 1.8TQ).....but then i had my cousins 01 jellow S4(chipped) against the cl-s and my cousin beat him by a 2 car length on a straight road.....revenge was sure t

 

I thought the CL Type S was 270HP =)

I believe the CL would win. I've sat in both, but you'd really have to see both cars go at it on the line.
They both pull pretty good.

yeah the new tl's are 270hp...or like 268hp, cant remember right now...lol
