On my way to work this morning.......me and a 03 CL type S were screwin around. we finally came to a light where there was no traffic ahead. Now keep in mind, I knew I was going to lose as those Type S cars are no joke.......but I guess I just wanted to see by how much. He was of course automatic, so I knew my only chance was to have a good start, which I did....I launched great, and opened up a quick 1 car lead on him....I actually pulled a little bit on him once I hit 2nd gear. We passed 60miles an hour and I still had about a half car lead on him (which surprised me), but once I got into 3rd gear he started to reel me in. At 80mph we were neck and neck......and we ended up shutting it down at 100mph, where he had about 1.5 car lengths on me. All in all I was pleasantly surprised how well my car hung in there with him........he was surprised too to find out I was only running a 1.8t and not a 3.0 V6.....I didn't bother telling him that I was modded......let him feel a little insecure
So even though I lost, it felt like a win...........anyway that's my story, just thought I'd share.
