Hi All, Is anyone on here from San Diego? I need a recommendation on a good mechanic to take my 2002 A4 1.8T, Q to other than the dealer. I got so ripped off yesterday....

 

If you have the money, Miramar Audi Porsche . His name is Lubo, he owns personally both and is going to be a APR dealer soon if he isn't already. BUT he charges $100/hr...ffs.

Honestly alot of stuff you can do on your own, and smaller things you can take to pretty much any good mechanic. Its a car, they pretty much have the same parts and run essentially the same.

I use Banny's Auto in Miramar, he charges me like $45/hr. Had him do my TB and all belts and Water pump. Ran me like $4xx for labor. But it got done right.

Do your own spark plugs, oil changes, and filters (minus any filter that you can't get yourself), and youll save enough to use a good mechanic. And quit going to the dealer...
