Default Anyone used the ECS coilover kit?

I just saw the ECS coil over kit on ecstuning.com here. Its only 270 for fully adjustable coilovers. What a deal. Is it to good to be true?

I haven't personally but it is kinda like the rears of my koni coilovers. The sleve that you slide over the shock body is only held by 3 little allen head screws that pinch the shock body to keep it from spinning. What i mean is, say you wanna raise your car, its going to take alot of force its normally not easy to raise it since you are compressing the spring. That sleve will just spin because its not secured down good enough. Hope this can help.

I wont be adjusting them alot, i would mostly be using them to just lower the car and give me better handling. I may adjust it to get the ride perfect and th elook i want but then they will pretty much stay the same. It also sounds like if i bought a more pricey kit it would have the smae problem.

Just got why is was so cheap. U also have to buy shocks and springs. This is only a way to mkae them into coilovers so u can adjust them. What bullsh!t. I saw coilovers for 270 i was ready to buy them tomorrow.

I almost bought these. Still might.
I know a few on AZ have used em.

Only useful for people who already have shocks and springs and need some adjustment. If you are looking for suspension, buy full coilovers. ALl comes out to be about the same in cost.
