im sure you could come up with a vacuum/electrical operated system to save you going under the car

simple job really just a bit more pipe work and used in the UK to divert gasses past the catalyst for off road ( like eliminating the cat when in track mode )

electric cutout is probably what I would run on any audi turbo car. Most important is to buy a quality one because the electric butterfly is prone to small exhaust leaks. I would prefer a exhaust with a cutout to a full turbo back. The car will sound stealthy when you dont want attention. As soon as you are ready to go, flip a switch and open it up.
An APR tune and or a turbo upgrade with an electric cutout can provide years of fun without the wife and kids being the wiser. Now if only we can explain the car being down for 3 days while the ecu is sent off and the turbo is installed.
