Has anyone tried an Agency Power Blow off Valve/Recirc. Valve on 2007 A4 2.0T that's otherwise bone stock? If you have what do you think? Sorry if the question is idiotic, but I'm new to the Audi world (just got her yesterday afternoon) and definitely new to turbo...I've always been more of a supercharger kind of guy.

 

i think forge is the only one that will work with those new style motors

 

And BOV do NOT work on audis!!!!!

wrong. blow off valves work fine on audis, you just have to make sure you recirculate all of the charge air that's being "blown off". way too many people here think that blow off valves are a tool of satan... well guess what? a diverter valve is just volkswagen's name for a blow off valve, or bypass valve, or whatever else you want to call it.

 

Ok, Yeah I knew that but this guy wasn't saying that. He said a BOV not a BOV w/ a recirculate kit. Had he said that then I would have said that it would work.

Okay that settles it then, I guess I'm getting a Forge Diverter/Bypass Valve/Blowoff Valve, or whatever it is called in referrence to an Audi. So, who can tell me where one (myself) could acquire one of these Forge BOV/BPV/Diverters? And if they have the setup that the AP has, what would be best, 100% recirc, 50/50 recirc/atmospheric, or 100% recirc?

when answering someone who doesnt even know whats it called, let alone what it does, i would say thatthe statement "BOVs do not work" is correct. If someone isnt going to take the time tolearn what its even called, let alone how it works,you really think they are going to properly install it so the purged air gets recirculated? or do you think this person just wants their audi to make the same sound as someone's neon? if i were answering the original question, i would assume the second and make the same statement to them: BOVs, in the hands of someone who cant figure out even what to call it, do not work.
