how big of a pita was it to install

ps i dont think the line is that bad, as i still felt the car pull hard... until after the boost gauge, so i think something is loose

anyway, how much line do you need and whats it run?

so reexamined the lines going from my intake manifold to the t connector and all thoes lines, redid em, and put 3 zip ties a piece

now i'm showing 20-22 in HG vac, but still only boosting to 10psi MAX... and when it boosts, it doesnt spike... just never passes 10, then slowly drops toward redlinish...

i had my ecu flashed at an awe dealer like 2 months ago, i def remember there being more torque like last week... ill check the lines inside the car to find the leak, but wouldnt the vac show a leak as well as the boost???

Sorry i have been busy, The line cost me about $6-8 and i bought 6ft. of it. The Pepboys had spools of vac hose that you can buy by the foot by their parts counter. I believe it was the smallest they carry. Also what size T fitting did you use?

Did this only start when you put the guage in?

i thought it did, but its probably the placebo effect since now i have a gauge to tell me the readings, tooxtreme suggested that it might be the L hose at back of the intake manifold next to the coolant tank

its too dark right now, so ill have to wait till morning, either way i'm going to the audi dealership to get a L hose (if mine's shot) and the pep boys to buy some vac line to replace the oem crap i have

ps, that has nothing to do with you... i was just like bugging out trying to figure out whats the heck is going on. now the reality of a boost leak from the vac lines / L hose has set in and now i'm fine. i just hate it when i dont know whats going on
