apr chip

i was lookin to get an apr chip..its a stock 97 1.8T..do u need to get different spark plugs etc. or is it a direct replacement..u really see 200hp/240 tq outta one of those?

you dont need to touch the spark plugs
yes those are the approximate numbers
you will need an upgraded diverter valve...

Actually, this question isnt that bad. most of em are what chip and crap like that. this one is more legit. sure, we hear alot about replacing the DV, but this isnt one id openly flame

Anytime you add more boost you should consider new plugs. Swtitch to NGK bkr8e. They are copper and need changed every 5-10k miles but are best for higher boost and heat-gapped at .028.
