I love to listed to engines...... If you guys haven't seen it, watch the show Tog Gear on BBC or now on Discovery on Wedn/ at 10pm est! It is a GREAT show, and their site ( http://www.topgear.com ) has some good clips.

those src clips were awesome!! i love watching stuff like that, when they build up a car from stock, so sweet. Yeah that exhaust didnt sound much different than stock. You couldn't really hear the car that well cause the people were talking, but i think i'd like my exhaust to be a little louder than that. I like that tone though

magnaflow sounds pretty good, that's whats in my ride
just wish the damn turbo was louder to go with it

but i also have an exhaust leak, so im re-doing the whole thing

but in all seriousness (sp? word?) the APR exhuast is beautiful!! for the b6 its 2.5" piping to the split were it splits to 2x 2.25" pipes.

im not sure how the b6 sounds, but most exhuast manufacturers keep to their own groove... so im pretty sure it sounds the same as mmy b5 APR.. SWEET

 

Just curious... How does Milltek sound in comparison to APR? Louder/Quieter?

 

I have heard that APR is comparable to Borla... Sounds a little louder than stock, and has a high pitched/throaty yet subtle tone to it. If I had the money id get either of those for sure..

 

I've never heard Apr's system and I would imagine it sounds nice. Milltek has its own distinct sound tone/sound which isn't to loud, but its noticeable when steppin on it. At first I was going Borla but became frustrated and impatient because their Exhaust systems were always on back order. Borla is more reasonably priced than Milltek, but both offer an Million mile warranty on their exhaust systems. If you visit stratmosphere's website, they have a sound clip of the Milltek setup for the B6 1.8T.

 

custom is better in alllll possible ways....minus noise.
