Well I can't say I've ever been in a chiped audi but my friend has the jedda wagon, slamed on 18's and he just got it chiped. and let me tell you something. that little ****** will move on down the road. even for a fwd wagon. I can't wait untile I have a car that I can do that to. 2.8 is kinda gettin old now.

 

a chip is THAT big.. you only get 35 hp, but 70-80 ft/lbs of TQ is a BIG change. b6's a fat a$$es and need a chip BADLY

P.S. wagons don;t weigh that much more.. MAYBE 150lbs

wth is this 'trial' business? can you explain it a little more, i don't understand how that works.

 

the APR direct port programming has a trial option like Revo does. They flash your ECU and it runs in stock mode for 5 hours of driving time total. After the 5 hours is up, your ECU programming reverts to stock.

If you then decide you want to buy it, you give the dealer a call, give them a credit card and they give you an activation code that unlocks the features you paid for.

 

After being chipped, you'll never want to go back. I considered the 5 hour trial (it's 5 hours of driving time, not 5 hours of elapsed time), but since the software comes with a 30 day moey back guarantee I just went for it. If you have direct port programming (which I believe all B6's support), the process is exactly the same - they just plug their laptop into your port, download, and away you go. It will take a few days for the software to fully adapt, but you'l already know something big has changed as soon as you leave the parking lot
