ASAP HELP with injectors
i just put in my new injector seals, and i cat tell if the injectors are in all the way, they seem not to be,
do i need to push them until they go in, or do i just tighten the rail little by little?
and also, when i popped them out i think a bit of dirt went in, how bad is that?
reply ASAP, please
thanks for ur help

RE: ASAP HELP with injectors
Make sure you lube the o-rings with a bit of engine oil, they'll go in easier. Here is how I did it: I basically just pushed them in until they stopped sliding and then finished the job by tightening the rail slowly, I doubt you can really push them too far in. I had a bit of dirt fall inside the intake manifold as well when I switched injectors, I don't think it's such a big deal (as long as you didn't get like rocks in there or nothing).
Good luck!
