Hi guys I am thinking of Satege III upgrade from ATP with GT28RS ,what do you think about the kit and the software ,did anyone already have this upgrade ? thanx

Great FAQ Tom, if I use ATP GTRS eliminator,chip and 3" downpipe ,do I need any other mods like MAF ,FIMC ,are they necessery ? within the ATP software ,is it reliable ? I am serios about doing this mod so would you please give me details and hints about upgrade becouse I have to do it by my self.Thanx in advence.

 

I wasn't the happiest with atp. had to send a few things back to get the right/well made parts. i think you need a 2.75 ID maf, maybe a 3" ID maf. but i'm not sure,, thats a VR6 MAF or an S4 maf. also need a FMIc when pushin 22lbs of boooooost so you don't kill yer motor. 440's are needed. gotta get rid of yer pcv system, not too hard though. thanx graffix can you tell me what kind of parts do you have to send back,any problems about chip ? Don't you happy with the performance.

 

There is a guy on audizine that just installed that kit and he was extremely dissapointed. Right now I think he is in the process of getting software from a different company because supposedly the ATP software sucks.

 

Yeah, he had problems with the inlet pipe fitting behind the B5 headlight,some shitty coolant/oil return lines, and then he got beat repeatedly by his buddy's TT 225 in some third gear pulls, datalogged it, and discovered that he was making 230hp. So he was pretty pissed off about that.

I read all the stuff about K04 and mika tuned Gtrs kit but I am still confused and can't decide what to do.
At the end I have decided to do one of these upgrades below ;

1 - K04 with dahlback soft.
2 - Gtrs with ATP mika tuned soft.

If you were deciding one of them which one would you prefer and why ?

 

I currently have a gt28r kit from atp. I am upgrading to the gt28rs, should be here FRI, without the software. I will only be able to run 12-14 lbs of boost, but I am getting the software/w/injectors later for 400 dollars. I liked what I had, and the gt28rs will have a much greater potential than a k04, but a lot of people love the k04, so it is really up to you. To do the full gt28rs kit, you know you will be spending around 4k after getting a fmic, software/injectors, and the hardware kit right? Whereas, with the k04, I believe you can get kits as low as 2k.
