Default Audi 1.8t or 350z

hey yall i love the 1.8t's and i love the 350z. i am in the market for one of them and i dont know which one. i love speed and want speed, i read that the 20041.8t 0-60 is 7+ and the 350z is right around 5.2. what would i have to spend to get the 1.8 around that time or is that unheard of. i really dont know which to get they both are freakin sweet thanks for the help guys

the audi is very capible of producing those numbers and far below it. it all depends on how much you want to spend in mods. personaly i would prefer a modded fast car to a stock fast one

Dont go rice. the 1.8 has a lot of potential and I agree that I would rather have a fast modded car and a fast stock. you get more respect that way. If you get the 350 you might as well go audition for 3fast 3furious

i think subconciously you've already made your mind or else you wouldnt have come to the audi forum.
Z's are sweet though, but no back seats right? you should probably thing about practicality, too. (AWD vs. RWD)

a4 all the way. as sharp as the 350z is, its still a nissan. I just traded in my old man 05 Altima for my a4 (last week). Granted you can't compare an altima to a Z, but quality alone of a nissan compared to an audi speaks for itself.

if i had 10+k to drop into a turbo kit w/internals, i would totally have a Z.(that and if they were AWD)..

it all depends on how much money you want to put into the car and how fast you actually want it to be.. with a turbo kit w/internals($10+k) the Z can be INCREDIBLY fast(like 700hp fast).. but without any forced induction the Z ins't going to be any faster than they are instock form. they don't respond to mods well..

with the 1.8t there are a hundred different turbo possibilities that can easily get you to the power of the Z, and very far beyond. but that tends to get pricy too. just do a lot of research. hopefully you're posting on a nissan forum as well

well everyone here will tell you to get a audi, but i would say it depends on where you live. if you are giong to be driving in the winter i would get the audi cuz you cant get any better than the quattro but if you rarly see snow or bad weather i like the z. my friend has a z and its fun to drive cuz you can easily drift around corners.

For me the deciding factor would be location. The 1.8t can be driven hard in any weather with loads of potential for speed. The Z is so much faster stock and block is capable of handling hp numbers that the 1.8t could not withstand, but its limited to summer use. I've always liked the Z, if it came with AWD then it would be my choice.
