audi a4 1.8 20 valve 1997
[size=3]Hi there, this is my first time posting a message,
I have a problem with my audi a4 1.8 20 valve 97, when I drive it the engine seems to pop back at me into the air box,under acceleration the car seems to hesitate and stumble to go, I have changed the mass air flow meter along with the cam belt and throttle body, all to no avail,also checked head gasket witch appears fine,my car has done 160,000 miles but did run fine before this happened, also noticed that it struggles to start without throttle but does start, I have also replaced battery and allowed car 30 miles to recalibrate but have not found any answer as to my problem,noticed that air filter was dirty could this cause that type of problem? any ideas would be welcome as have spent a lot of money with no answers[/size]
