I really need someones help,

Its christmas day, and i am going round my mums for christmas dinner, turn the engine on and the car starts to shake. At first thought , well hoped it was the cold, but at less than half a mile up the road , the yellow engine light comes on, ive had the car 3 month, and had no problems with it before, you press the acceceralator, and it just doesnt seem to move.

I have no ideas about cars, and could somebody please give me some advice.

Some sensor I would have to think. Got to find what code is showing.

 

If i take it to an audi garage, how much would it cost me to check?

Or could i do it myself?

I have no idea at all about cars. Some1 said check the spark plugs, and i have no idea were they would be, or if i did find them, how to check them.

 

Take it to a garage. The will hook it up to a decoder and let you know. Probably 60 bucks for diagnosis.
