Default Audi durability question

i don't have many problems with my audi...it's a 99 A4 1.8t model.

the only thing is when i first got the car (first month of ownership), everytime i washed it, the engine wouldn't turn over. it was so bad that we had to get audi roadside assistance to help (basically AAA) to tow it to my dealer.my thinking was that water was somehow getting into the engine...but the dealer said nothing seemed to be wrong with the engine after washing. they fixed it i guess, b/c it's been fine ever since. *shrug*

Default Audi durability question

My car has had some issues like a bad airbag, one dead turbo... But thats not typical stuff...

One thing that is typical are bad control arms.
Control arms tend to go bad between 75-100K miles - they squeak really loudly, and you have to replace the etire arm instead of just the bad bushing. My car has 109K miles on it and I have had to arms go bad (I consider myself luck so far).

Mine is a 1998 though - and I don't know if the newer B6 model has the same bushings.

Relax and enjoy your car, dude. You made a great choice and be proud of it. No worries.
