i was recently trying to cell a set of lights that i bought a while ago on craigslist. i use to have a corrado and bought the lights to make custom lights for it. like the Dub Design Industries corrado. someone emailed me saying that my lights were Ecodes. they have city light and clear corners.

im just trying to figure out if theyre actual ecodes or just US spec lights with the amber eliminated. the housing doesnt seem to be tempered with

they look like ecodes, the only way to tell is the light output... im sure you could sell them as e codes but if there not than thats just not right lol

 

Yeah, those are def ecodes. If they say Valeo on them, then you know they are not some replica made in taiwan.

you can tell by the cover on the tunsignal bulb, and the lack of a knotch on that ribbed piece next to turn signal light

 

yea they deffinately say valeo on them. is there a demand for these in teh audi scene?? i bought them for 400 im trying to get 350 out of them, is that a reasonable price to ask for them. HIDs and ballast are in the lights along with the rest of the bulbs

 

Thats not a bad deal at all for the set, put in the FS section and they shoudl go quick

 

haha, glad you didnt have the ***** to cut up a 400 dollar set of ecodes for your carrado
but that is a decent deal.. i wish i was in a position to buy those this week

 

yea im really glad i didnt cut em up, especially knowing that theyre ecodes, audi ecodes are cheap, corrado one are expensive, i think over 600 if i recall correctly. but thank you guys for the help i appreciate it a lot. and the light are sold already, that was quick.

also just to let you guys know i work at a performance shop out of Illinois, Chicago area, if you guys need anything let me know ill try to get you guys a good deal.

also audi forum members are really cool, you guys should check out a subaru forum, bashing left and right thats all they do
