I've been wanting to put some sort of screen in my audi. I've been checking around at navplus.us, they say u need a symphony II with the 6 disc changer. I dont have this but i was wondering if there is anyway i can get it installed in my car???i'd really like to stay away from aftermarket b/c i like how the audi nav will look but if not, whats a good aftermarket Nav. I've been looking at the Pioneer. any suggestions...comments?

 

Have you posted a question on there asking if it's possible yet? The oem rns-e is pretty nice.

 

RNS-D & E both are possible with your 2000.
With E you need to modify the face plate for fitting, but it looks awesome.

 

im actually lookin to do the same, im gettin an awesome deal on a pioneer AVICD1 which is gonna look pretty factory, i just cant find a dash kit anywhere, i think i might need to get one custom made, if any one knows where i could find one it would be great, i have a 00 A4 with symphony

 

Yea you're gonna have a hard time, lnkn87. I checked on crutchfield for compatible players but I can't find any! You have to find some custom fit one somewhere. This guy put in an eclipse avn on his 2003 a4:

 

lnkn87: you can just get a 7in. Screen DIN radio, everything is basically touch screen, just have to make sure it can fit where the old radio was. heres a pic of what im talking about
