hi I am new to the Audi Forums


I am looking to buy an audi and so far i have found one i am really interested in, its a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro. I am new to the Make of Audi..or any car in general, this is my first car. The guy is asking $5,000 and it has 196,000 miles. What should I look for? is that to high of miles? how long do audi's go for? has anyone had any problems with an audi that had high miles?

im sorry if this is in the wrong area of the forums..

any help/advice would be great.

Price is too high. Mileage is too high. Unless you have a money tree growing in the back yard, this car is probably not right for your first car.

Way too high mileage, you'll find something better. That's 200k for 5k, on a 10 yr old car...nooo

 

he had the car on craigslist..i asked him if he would take something in the 3's and he said lowest he would take is $3,400.. the car has aftermarkets like a touchscreen flip-out radio, black leather interior, customized tinted headlights/taillights, 18 inch chrome rims, body kit, spoiler, its tinted throughout and it also has an aftermarket muffler.

is that still to much work for a car? i've been looking for a car for about 3 weeks and so far this is the nicest car i've found near me.
