Hello All:

I have a 2011 Audi A4. I purchased the car on May 30, 2011 and already have $27,000 miles on the car. So, obviously I am putting a ton of miles on the car every year.

The dealer told me I have a 4 yr/50,000 mile warranty. I am definetly going to purchase some kind of extended service contract. Probably giving me another 60,000 or 72,000 miles of coverage. I have some questions:

1) I am probably just going to go with the Audi Pure Protection Plan. However, does anyone have any suggestions for other plans from other companies?

2) If I do go with Audi Pure Protection, I am torn between the "Platinum" plan and the "Gold Plus" plan. Honestly, I know nothing about cars or mechanics. Any insight into which plan is better? I guess I am asking if the "Platinum" plan is worth the extra money?

3). I got a list of prices from the dealer. Are these proposals negotiable? I.E., can you bargain with these people when it comes to these plans?
