Well the Audi has a lower center of gravity. Just don't get too cocky and end up in a ditch as many do.

i wish i could say the same. i am sooooooo ******* mad right now. today on one of my out periods i was coming home and i hit a curb. i was making a left hand turn onto a block while braking at 10mph and all of a sudden ABS kicked in. I knew as soon as that happened I was going for a ride. sure enough, i loose traction car starts sliding on an angle and i cant recover. BOOM! Front right rim hits the curb flush. I took chunks out of the rim and it made my already bad alignment worse. now the steering wheel wobbles. I bounced off of the damn thing like a bumper car. I hate the ABS in this car, it is way to sensitive. This morning on the way to school I was crawling up to the stop signs while stopping, and it still kicked in. I was sliding through an intersection at 5 mph and almost got into an accident b.c of it. i guess my problem is the type of tread on the tires. pirelli 6000's. too bad i had to find out the hard way. i wanted today's driving experience in the snow to be positive since it would be my first one in the a4.....oh well

Yeah you really need to get some all-weather/winter tires on there!

How will I know if the rim is bent or it just threw off my alignment? I took some nice chunks out of the rim but I dont know if it should be scrapped. I hit the curb doing about 10mph

Take the car to have it aligned. They'll be able to tell you if the wheel is shot or not.

i have been thinking about it. all of my rims are beat to ****, but the front right is the worse now. is it tough to get the wheel back on once you get it off?
