audi in snow
today i took my audi out in the snow on the way to school, there was about 5 inches on the ground. it handled very good iw as impressed with the all wheel drive. i felt more in control in my audi then i did my old jeep.
i wish i could say the same. i am sooooooo ******* mad right now. today on one of my out periods i was coming home and i hit a curb. i was making a left hand turn onto a block while braking at 10mph and all of a sudden ABS kicked in. I knew as soon as that happened I was going for a ride. sure enough, i loose traction car starts sliding on an angle and i cant recover. BOOM! Front right rim hits the curb flush. I took chunks out of the rim and it made my already bad alignment worse. now the steering wheel wobbles. I bounced off of the damn thing like a bumper car. I hate the ABS in this car, it is way to sensitive. This morning on the way to school I was crawling up to the stop signs while stopping, and it still kicked in. I was sliding through an intersection at 5 mph and almost got into an accident b.c of it. i guess my problem is the type of tread on the tires. pirelli 6000's. too bad i had to find out the hard way. i wanted today's driving experience in the snow to be positive since it would be my first one in the a4.....oh well
damn sorry to hear, witht he wheel jumping everywhere when u drive u should buy a new rim u might salvage the tire...dont worry im def not cocky at all so some people i c on the roads. i was just impressed about how it handled
