I ordered a set of MEYLE TRE's from PureMS and they did not come with the clamping bolt. They only came with the small bolt that screws into the end. My question is do I have to buy this at the stealership? They say to always replace bolts and nuts whenever you take them off, is this one the same or can I reuse it? - PureMS doesn't even offer this bolt on their site.

 

You can resuse any hardware that the TRE's didnt come with from purems. Thats what i did. Might want to use to thread lock on the bolts though.

 

How about front sway bar links? I just won a set of Meyle's off of some guy on ebay for $30 shipped. He said only one has hardware. Can I just reuse those too?

 

dont know about those.. Theres a lot more stress on the swaybar links i think..and if it were me i might get get new hardware from the dealer on those.

 

At the dealership I work at we replace hardware when it breaks or is stripped, other than that they should be good.
