yea JL systems are nice and clean...but i bet u dropped about $1,500-$2000 if u got 2 subs and speakers cuz i can see what amps u got and im almost possitive u got speakers cuz of the 400/3 amp...thats **** prolly sounds sweet as hell...

I really resent that comment [>:], I own a Accord as well as my A4 and I don't have Audiobahn or JL in my car.
If you build the right box for the twelves using a modeling software like WINISD or something else you can build a enclosure that will make the 12s sound spectacular.

BTW, You don't have to run JL Audio in your cars, there's lots of other brands out there that are cheaper and work really well:

yo i totally agree with u...yea JL is kickass but im looking at two 12 inch infiniti subs that put out 1200 watts total...yea and i dont ahve to pay $300 per sub either...hell i can get both subs for $160... 99black is rite u don't need JL to make ur cars stereo sound nice

 

dude, Infiniti and JL I woul put in the same class both are a top notch sub.
Audiobahn is a loud sub but the sound Q is just not there.
I had a BMW that I put about $9,000 ito the system and it was all audiobahn so I think I have the right to dislike that equpment.
I can post picks of my old system if you would like, just say the word.
I allways thought it looked kick *** but the sound Q was not there.

infinity isn't that top notch but its not a bad sub...but yea sure dude post some pics, if its 9 grand in a system hell it should look good...yea Panda JL's are better i was just sayin im not getting JL cuz there damn expensive thats y im going with a sub that doesnt' cost much

That's roughly 1250 -1500. I'm part of a Car Audio Competition team that has a vehicle with partially the same setup ($100 bucks worth of speakers) that beat out cars running more expensive speaker brands in their cars. Could I take audiobahn and build me a killer car with it, sure, will it be wroth of a Championship, not really in sound quality, but in SPL quite possibly. Fellas, just don't throw away money jsut because people are saying that JL is the only brand, there's alot more out there..

Also, don't believe the hype when it comes to publish output. it's all marketing to tool to get the buyer to buy in.. I went to CES this year and saw it first hand.. I've been hanging around the car audio scene since 1989, back when the norm was JL, MB Quart, PPI, and Audio Control, I did run JL for a while, Image Dynamics, and Focal for a while.. BTW my focals 7" mid ($$$$) got replaced by the $16 dollar midbass, stuff is out there, just try to weed out the hype...
