Default Auto-Dim Mirrors

I read in my manual there is a switch on the rearview mirror to turn on/off the auto dimming feature for the side mirrors. I cna't find it though. Am I missing something? Where the hell is it?!?!

What do you need to turn it off for?

The left one doesn't work right, think it's broken, so I want to turn them off until i replace it.

Its not a switch - its a pair of sensors.

There are two sensors - one on the front pointing to the front windshield, and one below the main mirror glass pointing towards the rear windshield.
The front one senses whether it is daylight or not - if it senses enough light for daytime it turns off the autodimming feature, otherwise it engages it)
The one in the rear senses lights of other cars behind you and dims the mirror accordingly (if the first sensor has enabled the system).

Put some black electrical tape on the rear sensor and it should keep them from dimming.

Oh, ok, sorry thought there was a switch somewhere.
