Hi all,

I have the following problem. Two weeks ago I was driving at night close to sunrise, both exterior mirrors were automatically dimmed, they were working great. Then, the sun was rising but my mirrors were still dark/blue...I gave them more time...it was about 6:50 already and it was 100% bright and that point but my mirrors were still dark like if I was driving at night so I decided while still driving and headlights on to cover the sensor that point to the back of my carwith my finger to try to avoid the dimming. At the beggining I didn't have any success so I kept playing with the sensor and I remember I also covered the other sensor that points to the windshield. Nothing, so I tried covering both (still driving at50 mph)...and at some point it when to normal and they got undimmed. I didn't realizeuntilyesterday night that now they don't dimm at all, like if the system got dissabled when I did that 2 weeks ago. Any ideas how to "enable" the auto dimming again?

I have 2001 B5 A4 1.8T Quattro.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
