My autodimming mirror has crapped out - half of it is stuck on autodim. Do I need to replace the whole mirror, or just the glass? I found this thread from a while back and it seems like you can replace the glass and it should be fine.

im having the same problem with mine. its not to big of a problem but i would like to get it fixed because i see double in my mirror because of it

 

Just the glass. Good luck finding it any place other than the dealer. If you guys dont want to get raped, let me know and I can use my discount at work and ship them to you for probably half of what youd pay.

Yeah, I cant do it all the time, but every once in a while Id be happy to hook a member up for dealer only type stuff. Dont want the stealer thinking Im running a side business with my insane discount [8D]

 

Just out of curiosity, is it your mirriors that are always dimmed? if that it so, do any of you have tinted windows?

 

so if you can get a dealer discount on one, what kind of price are we looking at

 

no tinted windows, half of the rearview is always dimmed, the other half is not.
