Average MPG on 1.8T
I mean I do drive a little spirited but the majority is in city driving with it being 10-15mile trips each way. I guess I don't expect the full 20mpg the way I drive as I do get on it every so often but I'm not driving it at 100mph all the time. lol I would be expecting more like a 18mpg average.
Depends how you drive you can get lots of miles in city too. Usually i get about 300+ miles in city, and when i went to ohio i got 440ish on one tank
If i had my K&N installed before i went to ohio im sure i could've got close to 500.
My dashboard AVG MPG is at 26.7 for my 1.8T quattrow/ manual transmission - which i think is great for a quattro - can't get that in no pick-up truck. Has 155K on it, and never replaced the MAF or O2 sensors. All i got is a K&N panel filter that i put in at 40K miles when i got the car and never cleaned or re-oiled it (Ithink i didvacuum outbits of leaves and sand from theair box once though...). It's not that i don't love my car, it just doesn't give metoo manyproblemsto fix. maybe the Borla cat-back i put on today will increase the milage. I'll let u know if it does...

the most I've gotten to a tank in my car is around 380 miles, but I average around 330-340 with a mix of city and highway. my average mileage according to the LCD display is 25.4 mpg.
I get 360-375 every tank (16 gallons in every refill on average)in my 2003 A4 1.8T Quattro. This is city and highway driving together - my usual week. If just on highways - I get around 400 or little over.
