Default AWE Springs and Shocks Combo vs Winter

Hey guys,

Thinking about getting the H&R Sport/Race Springs and Bilstein Sport Shocks Combo from AWE Tuning. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with lowering the car 1-1.5in in the winter? Maybe I should just wait until next spring.

Thanks

Are you in the city? Lowering is fine, as the city streets are usually fairly well kept. If you're outside the city... I'd get coilovers, so you can raise the car up again, if need be.

Im in Ottawa, suburbs so the snow won't pile up too much before the plows come out.

Im just thinking for the future... I want to go the whole KO4 with FMIC route. With the snow and FMIC with lowering the car... I think there is potential there for snow to get into the FMIC, maybe up the intake?

Any thoughts?

It sucks..Just when it gets nice and cold, and you get nice dense air, the roads get all icy, and jammed up with snow!
