WTB Wanted H&R springs / rs4 springs shocks, difference ?
What do I need to know about getting some performance springs/shocks for 2007 a4 2.0t ?
Should i go with H&R or try to get a preowned set of rs4 springs? Does the s-package a4 come with different shocks?
Also, s package rims, any for sale ?
Thanks !!

expect a much stiffer ride.....you will feel every bump and crack in the road, also be careful of going to low...especially if the roads around u suck....because if u hit a massive pothole it could take ur oil pan right off and thats not exact;y the best thing for your car ya kno?
i don't know the differences between the two springs (h&r vs. rs4) but i would go new becuase they're is more life left in those springs becuase they are new
if you go shocks, go complete coilover, tein makes a reletively cheap set, and stasis i think still remains the best and most expensive coil overs to buy. but unless your racing or showing your car at major shows i think springs are totally fine but thats just my opinion

Do you want a 1.5" drop from stock (non-sport suspension) with an increase in performance yet smooth ride on rough roads? Two choices: a good coilover system (i.e Stasis, Koni or Vogtland), OR the Eibach Pro springs and Koni FSD shock combo. The coilovers installed will cost you ~$1400+ while the Eibach/Koni-FSD combo installed was just under $1000 for me.
Since I didn't have a need for a deep 2" or greater drop and didn't want to bother with adjustments, I went the Eibach/Koni-FSD route and absolutely love the ride with just enough lowering for me. No rubbing, no harshness, and it is lower than the harsh factory sport suspension setup. This is post-install:

This post was SO helpful Bmeister! I'm looking for a slight drop but comfortable ride these days. Sounds like this setup is what I'm looking for, thanks for including a pic!
